Levels: Riders with low level (maiden-BN) eventing experience and/or riders with no eventing experience, but with experience in 2’-2’6” hunters. Competent at walk/trot/canter and jumping 2’-2’6”.
Horses: You are more then welcome to bring your own horse or use one of our staff horses.
# of Riders: minimum of 3, maximum of 6
Price: $175 using EAI horse $200 bring your horse (includes board for 1 night, additional nights available, proof of current coggins required)
Daily Activities: 0845 - All Campers Assembly in Student Lounge 0900 - Groom and Tack-up your Horse 0930 - 1st Ride- Based on Education, Theory, & Application 1030 - 2nd Ride – Mounted Activity 1130 - Untack and Groom your Horse 1200 - Lunch (provide your own – kitchen facilities available) 1300- Video/Lecture/Demonstration 1400 - Groom and Tack-up your Horse 1430 - 3rd Ride – Based on Final Goal for Camp 1530 - Untack & Groom your Horse 1600 - End of Day
About Equestrian Arts Institute Equestrian Arts Institute is a riding school that specializes in the disciplines of eventing and dressage. We are a full services boarding, training and lesson facility offering customized programs that help our riders and horses meet their individual goals. Our focus is on educating the rider and horse to meet their fullest potential in not only riding, but also horsemanship.
Instructor-Toney Massinople—Owner/Head Instructor Toney is the CEO/Owner of Equestrian Arts Institute. Toney graduated, with honors, from Morven Park International Equestrian Institute (Leesburg, VA) in 1978. At that time Morven Park was one of the top equestrian facilities & thee top equestrian school in the US. Toney has competed through Intermediate Level eventing, while schooling all the Advanced level efforts. Toney also competed through Prix St. George in dressage. Toney has taught students through Preliminary Eventing & has coached a student through the “A” Pony Club rating.
