Sorry to hear about your grandma GD.. =(

Just a quick question GD, what are you feeding Jasper? I am contemplating a feed switch for KC but am really struggling..

Hubby: You said all you needed was ONE horse and now we have to have TWO horses, a riding arena, a horse trailer, etc.
Me: What I meant was a horse and EVERYTHING it included. ;)

Thanks for your kind sentiments, it means a lot. My grandmother was 94 years old. and such a sweet intelligent woman with amazing faith in God. She walks with God now...no doubt about that.

As far as what I feed my boy, well I feed him Blue Seal (TROTTER) it is a complete feed (hay based pellet) little sugar and 14% protein. He gets two cans morning and two cans at night. He gets one healthy leaf of alfalfa morning and night, and has a mineral/salt block.

The Vet says he looks perfect!

The stallion owner will be showcasing jasper on his online webpage for his stallion. it is not up yet but soon will be.

kingcorona .net

I will get some new pictures of him this weekend! ((((((((HUGS)))))))

Mr. Jasper looks GREAT!!!!! He is so MUSCLY, if that's a word.. haha.
Thanks for the feed advice.. Hubby is pressuring me to cut my feed costs and is pressuringmeto go to sweet feed. It's CRAZY hard to find pellets here in my part of IN.. But after what I've read, I am going to switch from Nutrena Prime 12% to Nutrena Safe Choice 14%. I found it $1 cheaper and that adds UP! haha.
Sorry about your family stuff.. Prayers your way..

OK. So I have to put in a brag.. Our road is flooded because of the river being out and the rain.. Well, Hubby and I decided to take KC and Doc for a walk down there and let the dogs run with us, since there would be no cars. Doc was good as gold as always.. KC actually walked a lot faster than normal. haha. and was very good also.
We got to where the water was out and Doc walked right in and KC put her front hooves in before lowering her head to look at the water.. After Doc walked in a bit (hubby didn't have his wading boots on haha) I took KC ALL the way in.. She walked up the her KNEES! She really enjoyed it, pawing, trying to lay down (which I wouldn't let her for fear of her catching cold) walking around, splashing with her muzzle etc. Doc did the same when I took him in.
I was just SO proud of my girl. She is so brave and bold.. Just had to brag to you guys. ;)
I hope in the summer we can really work on water work! Now hubby is trying to convince me to build a pond since the animals had to much fun.. haha.

Hubby: You said all you needed was ONE horse and now we have to have TWO horses, a riding arena, a horse trailer, etc.

She is like that sometimes... haha. She is SUPER willing when in hand.. She'll walk on the porch, over a bridge in the woods, water, through tight places, in the garage, without so much as a blink of the eye, etc.. She can be a pain sometimes..Just like a woman.. ;) She can be impatient when standing in hand and is sometimes stubborn with back up, even though we both know she knows what I' asking. haha. I am STILL working on letting me brush/rub her belly close to her hind legs.. she doesn't mind if I brush DOWN she just doesn't want me brushing UP if that makes sense. haha. She is CRAZY.

I am working on finding the new pics on that page... *will figure it out* haha.

Just look at that boy. He is as tall as the fence. Is he sticking his
tongue out at you? I swear he grows more every time I see new pics of him. I love the one with "NO" feet on the ground.
"Mr. Jasper" you are one special horse!!!!
