Well after a long wait, Nebon gave birth to a gorgeous bay colt. this little guy can run and run and run. all racing bred from "dash for Cash" Easy Jet, Beduino on the dams side to the full brother of "Corona Cartel" on the sires side.
Looks like a nice racing prospect to us.We will see how he does for the next two years, but we will geld him as there are a few stallions out there with his lines. (not exact line) but close enough, besides i just do not want to deal with a stud horse....been there done that! No thank you!

| LOL yep your right I have often looked myself in the mirror saying and you want another stud horse LOL But the trainer and others including my husband all say "Don't cut him"! If he was not such an easy horse to handle, very respectful and not nasty i would get him gelded, but he is such a good horse, smart, easy, built and has some of the best bloodlines in the business, if he races well too.....he will earn a good following and have many mare owners waiting in line to breed to him, so we will give him every opportunity to excel. No don't cut him. ..My mare is waiting. He will make an awesome stallion. You know I love him!! Brains, beauty, great mind and a butt to die for!! I keep checking for pics of him. Can not wait to see him.. |

| Nickki your so cute! I know what you mean about the pictures. I miss him so much and miss not being able to see him! I keep getting promises that i will get a picture but nothing yet. I hope very soon to get something from the trainer, but know he is one buzy man with at the colts he has to train and going back and forth from the track too. Fingers crossed i will get a picture soon. I will let Jasper know he has a girlfriend in the wings. Giggle. |

Well just got a quick picture of Jasper from the trainers wife taken in Mar before he was taken to the track. Not the best picture but hey i am happy for any picture at all. I miss him so much! I will be heading to OKC in May to visit my boy, guaranteed I will have plenty of pictures to share.

| OMG He's gorgeous!!! I had so much fun scrolling through the pics of him from the beginning to now. Thank you so much for the pics. Can't wait to see pics of him all muscled up and ready to race!! Just got a call from the trainer, Jasper is doing awesome. He is being ridden every day, he is doing great with the Gate, is breaking from the gate well and straight, he will begin schooling races in about 2 weeks. Will let you know when his maiden race will be! Thanks for your support. Looking forward to his fan club at the track watching this boy run! I will give you the dates and see if we can all meet to watch him. (((((((((((HUGS))))))))) to all of his fans! |

Thanks Blonde_Jumper and nickki, and dvmintraining, yes I miss him so very much! I can hardly stand this separation! Ugh. : (
I can not wait to go to Oklahoma in June to see him run, the fires near Choctaw Okla. really had me scared, the trainer could see the flames from his house and was almost ready to evacuate the horses when the wind shifted directions away from his place, phew!

Yes it was scarey, but he is fine and all is well. I can not wait to see him either! I miss my little boy, I wonder if I am going to recognise him or if he will remember me when I get there. And you know i am going to be loaded down with pictures!!!!!!

Ok everyone here is the latest update: The trainer in Oklahoma called to ask me if he could take Jasper to Sam Houston Race Track in Houston TX. He said that he is bringing his filly and the owners of Track Magazines filly and Jasper because the track is better and higher purses. He got to Sam Houston track last week end. and is doing GREAT!!!
In fact one of the top Jockeys there rode him and said he runs like the more mature horses at the track and is very impressed. He is doing great on the Schooling races and winning most of his meets.
The trainer loves him and promises to get a picture of him very soon, he says he is one built colt! He is a Corona for sure! KEEP YOUR WELL WISHES COMING! |

| Thanks Poquita and luvmynoah, I miss him so much but want the very best for him, He seems to love his new career, the trainer says he is very willing and will do what ever you ask. He will race very lightly this first year. I do not want him to stress those young joints,muscles and tendons, next year he will have a be races more then this year. I can not wait until June when I see my boy again. Thanks for your support! |

Thanks Brrlracer, The trainer is doing well with him, he will have his first maiden race the beginning of June, he will then train more and be prepared to race in July at the Dash for Cash race, If he makes the cut in the trials. Our plans to race him are about 4 races (excluding trials and maiden/schooling races. That is a very conservative racing schedule for a two year old.
Next year it will be more, we plan to hit a lot of Challenge Derby's as a 3 year old. (he is Raceing Challenge enrolled). Our number #1 goal is to keep him healthy and strong. Race money altho nice, cant fix a broken down horse.
