Dang that's what I call good insurance against having a blue Christmas lol. Just HAVING a race horse is dreamy enough but to win is cloud ten!

Jasper is relaxing at the trainers farm in Oklahoma, he is really doing well, but really calling out to the ladies, of course he has two stud colts (yearlings) one on each side of him so he has to let them know..."hey I am the top stallion around here dont you forget it" LOL |

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE! Looks like my wishes for a white Christmas have come true. Now remember everyone in the Jasper fan club, make sure you sent me a pm with your address to receive your picture of our boy in the mail. If you sent it two weeks ago, please send it again as they are eliminating those messages after two weeks. Each member will get a 8x10 glossy for Christmas and a 8x10 race picture

| I finally got to see Jasper's race and it was thrilling! Watched it with my daughter at her house, but first I brought her through Jasper's growing up with all his posted pictures. She's LUV'n him!! We had goose bumps the whole race! |

| Thanks so much for all of your support, Well Jasper will be heading over to Remington on Feb 5th. Hw will not race until March sometime but will instead be condioned and worked out to get in shape to race agin it shouldnt take too much to get him back in racing condition. Bad weather in Oklahoma has 1/2 inch on Ice on trees and powerlines pray he does not catch a cold or colic ffrom the extremes in temperature. I am looking forward to an exciting racing season for young Jasper. |

| Thanks Niccki, Jasper is doing very well now, got a heavy blanket on and is as warm as toast. He will be heading out to Remington Race Track on the 5th of this month (Friday). Then he can begin to get back to racing form. I have entered him in the challenge derby in texas, he is racing challenge enrolled. His first race of the season should be at the end of March or beginning of April. I will get only a 10 day notice that he is entered into a race, as soon as I know you will know! Thanks for hanging in there with me during this rest period for Jasper, your awesome! |

It won't be long now!! I'm so excited. Mr. Jasper was born to run. I wouldn't think it would take much to get him back to racing form. I'm sure the break done him alot of good. I get goose bumps just watching him run. Love that boy!!! |

Got an update for you all, Jasper has just arrived at Remington Race track in OKC, he is in fine shape and will have a timed workout before he starts racing in March....look for many more races this year, he is in perfect shape Vet has taken xrays and he is a go on all counts, he will be raced much more this year since he is past the worry stage of development. He is one good looking boy! He is HUGE!! but sweet and very very willing!
His only studdish behavior is calling to the ladies and a bit of prancing as he is led to the walker, but under saddle he is all business!
I will keep you all updated on how he is doing! Looking forward to a busy racing year! Of course his health and well being is my number 1 priority! |

Sorry for being away from you all. Thanks so much Nickki for you kind comments, I do try to take good care of my boy Jasper. I love that boy!
Well looks like Jaspers next race will be March 14th if all goes well he will be in the 7th race Its an Allowance race for 3 year olds and up who have not won 2 races (which means he may be running against 4,5, and 6 year olds also). The race closes on March 11th so we will not know what post position he will be in until then. I will give you more details as they come to me, he will have an official timed workout this next weekend. Its so exciting. Thanks for your support, Jasper has an awesome fan club! |

Well he had his first timed workout today, by himself handily at 250 yards here is a link to the workout today.

click on todays date (march 2) he is 1/2 way down the page.
He did not go as fast as he can...why? because there just is no money in it, if your going to race...(make sure it is profitable) giggle
It was a good workout and he will have another one before he races on the 14th. |

UPDATE
The race is on Mar 14th, I should know for sure if he made the cut by Wed, then I should be able to tell you his post position, race number and time it will be simulcast, so here is hoping he makes the cut, competition is fierce here at Remington since Blue Ribbon Downs closed (in Salisaw ok). |
