When I was a beef cattle herdsman, the same farm had a top quality jumping horse farm on the same property. What is the difference between top jumping prospect and top racing prospect ?
He has legs all the way up to the wazzoo |

| Yes I did AI, he ships very well we had his semen checked by our reproductive vet and his semen motility was 73%....very high for 24 hours old! she took first insemination no problem! they collect every other day, you will need to ask if they collect on odd or even days to make sure you short cycle your mare at the right time, they were very cooperative to work with. |

| LOL Patch, the strange thing is I am not even crib feeding him he is like this from just stealing some feed out of mommas bucket, I do feed her more so he can steal some for himself. no supplements at all, no pasture to speak of and just timothy hay. Its genetics and his 12 hours of playing out of the stall during the day, night time we have coyotes so I keep them in. |

| I hope so, we have been breeding a long time and hope it pays off with this boy, time will tell, he has the bloodlines, the build and heart of a runner...so the rest is up to him, he will head off to Texas to be trained when he is around 2 years old, he was imprinted at birth so far he has been a dream to handle. What a lover and has a very even temperment and learns quickly. thanks for taking the time to comments, it means a lot Nikki99. :) |

His sire is stunning. Your guy is put together so perfect. Are you keeping him a stallion? I'm in awww every time I look at him. I would make people call him "Mr. Jasper". |

Thanks Nickki, we hope to keep him a stallion, we just have to see if it impedes his racing career. if it does then he will more then likely be gelded. I am really hopeing to keep him a stallion though. <fingers crossed>
Thanks Rebelsmom, I think so too but I am way BIASED!!!! thanks for taking the time to comment, your both very sweet! |
